Reporting to the
ITIP Site Principal Investigator, the ITIP Coordinator will ensure quality
conduct of 2 clinical trials in childhood pneumonia, managing the appropriate
clinical care of all study participants and following all study protocols and
procedures in accordance with international standards, She/he will be
responsible for coordination of study activities at NCH, oversight of study
participants’ clinical care, supervision of study personnel and documentation
and reporting of ongoing study results, in close collaboration with study
C-Investigators at Save the Children, PATH, the College of Medicine and he
Ministry of Health, In addition, the
ITIP Study Coordinator will develop and
submit monthly activity reports, working closely with the ITIP study team on all
aspects of project implementation
Applicants should
have a minimum qualification of a Diploma in Clinical Medicine, candidates with
a documented specially in Pediatrics are preferred, Applicants should also have
at least 2 yrs experience of direct involvement in the conduct of clinical
trials or large research studies, with demonstrable success in upholding Good
Clinical Practices (GCP)
