Sandvik Mining and construction Nigeria Ltd is a company that makes a broad range of projects and services utilized in the mining industry and is in the ownership of Sandvik AB, a company listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. They are currently recruiting for the position of a financial accountant.
JOB DESCRIPTION: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (Nigeria)
PURPOSE OF JOB:
Financial Accountant (Nigeria) reports directly to the Financial Manager – West Africa
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum HND in Accounting. Part qualification of either ACCA or CA Nigeria would be preferred.
Must have at least three years post qualification experience
KEY DUTIES
General Ledger functions
Statutory payments and returns
Banking
Petty cash
Non-trading local accounts payable
Statutory reporting
OTHERS:
Any other that may be assigned by the Financial Manager
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Successful applicants would be required to work at SMC sites in Nigeria and other West African Countries.
