Role Summary/Purpose: The successful candidate will be responsible for customer coverage in the West African region.
Essential Responsibilities
• Define, establish and maintain customer relations and coverage in the region
• Monitor, analyze, and understand market activities to continuously update the business on all region dynamics
• Develop new customers for GE Energy businesses
• Develop effective market and transactional strategies in line with the business objectives
• Define; scope and communicate opportunity viability, timing and customer requirements.
• Implement approved transactional strategies and drive to closure through all internal and external process steps
• Support team on contracts and negotiating teams on all aspects of assigned projects
• Identify opportunities for cross GE business solutions
• Favorably position GE Energy with customers in the market.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Technical or Business Degree from an accredited 4 year college
5+ years commercial experience in direct Sales or Commercial Operations
Effective communication across organizations supported by data analysis
Fluency in English and French
Position requires frequent travel throughout the West African region
