on behalf of SAHAM ASSURANCE Rwanda Ltd is currently seeking a
highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare
    job descriptions, newspaper advert, select CVs, contact pre-selected
    candidates, and organize interviews.
  • Preparing
    recruitment confirmation letters, preparing contracts, letter of transfers
  • Ensure
    that each new employee has a file, make sure all their documents are in
    order, and apply for health insurance.
  • Supervise
    the preparation of annual leave plans, follow up leave
  • Ensure
    that all the documents to be sent to RSSB are complete for maternity
    leave, monitor the reimbursement of maternity benefits
  • Manage
    attendance, report absences / delays, write to employees for repeated
    delays
  • Prepare
    letters of dismissals or suspension, prepare final accounts, exit file,
    prepare the HR files in litigation with the legal department.
  • Prepare
    letters for disciplinary actions (warnings, blame …), report disciplinary
    cases to the Board
  • Make
    employee’s training plan, manage appropriate training for staff, identify
    training providers
  • Prepare
    payroll every month
  • Prepare
    monthly HR reports according to agreed template
  • Ensuring
    the smooth running of employees evaluations (June and December),
    collecting evaluation sheets in all services
  • Elaborate
    with the Directors the objectives of the year and ensure that each member
    of the company has received objectives for the year
  • Ensure
    that the list provided to the insurance is up to date, ensure the payment
    of insurance, inform the insurance of departures and new recruits
  • Manage
    the telecom account, inform departures and new recruits, manage SIM cards
    deposit
  • Put
    in place an HR strategy in line with the company’s strategy, in particular
    by controlling the workforce, the payroll, and implementing a succession
    and retention plan for employees.
QUALIFICATIONS
AND EXPERIENCE
  • University
    degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Social
    Sciences, or other related academic discipline.
  • At
    least 5 year’s relevant experience in HR within a busy organization
  • Fluency
    in French, English and Kinyarwanda.
  • Good
    oral and written communication skills
