2. JOB PURPOSE
The incumbent will oversee the organization of the corporate
office and the development and maintenance of company business practices,
policies and procedures, personnel files, and associated functions of each. The
incumbent will be an advocate for the company and will work closely with other
members of the Senior Management Staff to achieve and maintain the excellence
standards set forth by the company by giving the required support.
3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The position will be responsible for;
  •  
Working closely with
executive team to develop and implement strategic plans and company goals and
initiatives and create associated policies and procedures;
  •  
Ensure a conducive
work environment for the staff and high employee satisfaction levels;
  •  
Oversee all matters
related to procurement of goods and/or services for the company;
  •  
Formulation, review
and administration of the company’s policies to include Human Resource Policy
& Procedures, procurement policy, accounting policy etc., with a mandate to
provide guideline for the management and administrative structures critical to
optimal use of resources;
  •  
Design, implement and
consolidate a Performance Management System for performance management and
appraisal;
  •  
Conduct training
needs assessment and design need-based solutions including skills and capacity
building training courses, Mentoring & coaching to build the capacity and
facilitate the transfer of critical skills & knowledge;
  •  
Providing specialized
HR support to other departments and managers;
  •  
Prepare and follow
budgets for corporate operations.
  •  
Keep abreast of new
developments in the management of businesses to ensure best practice in the
organization;
  •  
Any other duties as
may be assigned from time to time by the CEO;
4. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education and Training
    •  
Master’s degree in
Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources Management, Procurement or
related field from a recognised university
    •  
Specialized in Human
Resources Management.
Professional Qualification and Experience
    •  
7 years of relevant
working experience out of which 3 must be in middle or senior level management;
    •  
Human Resource
management skills;
    •  
Must display strong
 team leadership and mentorship  skills;
    •  
Coordination and
organization skills;
Personal attributes and attitude
  •  
Good interpersonal
skills
  •  
Good communication
and presentation skills
  •  
Must be self driven
and innovative
  •  
Have a strong
analytical and problem solving skills
  •  
Ability to anticipate
potential problems, determine and implement solutions
  •
