Rwandan Organization of Professional Counselors ARCT–Ruhuka is a
National Nonprofit making Organization, formed in April 30th 1998
and officially registered under the Ministerial Decree No.97/11 on 28 July,
2004 and registered by Rwanda Governance Board (RGB).

ARCT-RUHUKA
in partnership with TROCAIRE RWANDAseeks to recruit two qualified Field
Officers for one of its projects called “Ensuring effective functioning of
community structures and referral mechanisms, in order to improve Gender Based
Violence prevention and response in Rwanda”.The project is being
implemented in the district of Rulindo and Gakenke of Northern Province
in partnership with TROCAIRE RWANDAseeks to recruit two qualified Field
Officers for one of its projects called “Ensuring effective functioning of

Violence prevention and response in Rwanda”.The project is being

support/contribute the overall functioning of ARCT-Ruhuka to fulfill its
mission, and to achieve the project goals in particular, in the assigned

Under
the direct supervision of Project Officer, the Field officers will be
responsible for the following activities:

- Coordination
of project activities at the district assigned up to village levels - To
develop professional detailed work plan and reports - Work
as part of ARCT –Ruhuka Technical Team (TT) - Represent
ARCT- Ruhuka and keep its good image at all levels specifically from
district to Village levels - In
collaboration with the Project officer, contribute to development of a
tailored and integrated training manual for target beneficiaries and other
stakeholders - To
continuouslymonitor and evaluate project progress andensure appropriate
data collection and reporting - Prepare
and conduct training andensuring high quality and professional services - To
work closely with Project officers and otherstakeholdersto ensure the well
going of project activities at grassroots level - Carry
out field visits and supervision and other needed services as required - Networks
of relevant interveners/ stakeholders for referral purposes - Attend
district coordination and partners meetings in their areas of coverage - Suggest
a local strategy for implementation according to the reality of a specific
context and watch over its execution once validated - Keep
the project officer and program managerupdated on the progress and
obstaclesin the field - Perform
other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

- At
least a Bachelors’ degree (A0) in gender studies,sociology, business
administration, Development , social work , Counseling , Psychology with
at least 3 years and above practical field experience - Ability
to work effectively in teams and partnerships with a various groups of
stakeholders - Ability
to prepare /organize different activities at community level and provide
trainings. - Transparent
and accountable in their work - Good
interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills - Demonstrated
computer based skills, including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and e-mail - Developed
level of initiative and able to work semi-independently and solve problems - Previous
experience in Gender , GBV and psychosocial work is preferred - Willingness
to work andlive and travelin a rural areas - Previous
experience in Gender , GBV and psychosocial work is preferred - Proficiency
in the English language (spoken and written); Kinyarwanda ismendatory and
French would be an added value. - Having
knowledge into MS words and Excel
