The
Government of the Republic of Rwanda has received a grant from the Conflict
Development Foundation (CDF) to finance the project for construction of One
Stop Border Post at la Corniche Rubavu. Part of th

eligible payments for the recruitment of Consultancy services.
These
consultancy services cover the supervision of construction works of the OSBP
Rubavu. It includes supervision of construction of the Buildings, culverts,
Access road as well as the interventions. The detailed design for the project
was prepared under earlier contract by another Consultant.

In accordance with the General and Special Conditions of Contract, the
Technical Specifications and Engineering Drawings or any amendments thereto;

Consultant shall, in general, exercise the powers in all matters concerning the
contract and the execution of the works with the exception of issues relating
to changes in, quality requirements, contract time and money. He shall
supervise the construction works with due diligence and efficiency, and in
accordance with sound technical, administrative, financial and economic
practices. He shall perform all duties associated with such tasks to ensure
that only the best construction practices are followed and that ,the final
product is in all respects equal to, or better than that specified, at the most
economic costs, and is carried out in full compliance with the, governing
specifications.
