STRUCTURAL ENGINEER-OIL AND GAS

Responsibilities:
The post holder will be responsible for:
• Structural Design using in-house developed design tools and STAAD design software.
• Preparation Of Foundation loads ( all combinations per client requirements).
• Complete Structural Design of Heater or WHRU components.
• Preparation of clear design sketches.
• Structural review of detailed drawings to ensure compliance to calculations.
• Other duties as assigned from time to time, including initial training in Heater design utilizing AutoCAD and Solid Works drafting tools.
REQUIREMENTS
• Possess a B.Eng (Hons) or M.Eng qualifications in Civil / Structural or Mechanical
• Minimum 5 years working experience, preferably in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry
• Must have strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to perform a process calculation
• Good communication skills in English both in written / spoken – essential
• Self motivated, performance driven and ability to work independently and under pressure with little supervision
• Result orientated, proactive and a team player
