The Wise Alya RWA NFT cancer hospital acquisition project, led by PUNKVISM, is officially set to begin on May 8. The initiative aims to transform an existing general hospital in Indonesia into a key facility that addresses the country’s ongoing shortage of medical infrastructure.
According to the most recent Feasibility Study (FS), the hospital’s value has been appraised at KRW 68.4 billion (approx. USD 50 million), a significant increase from the previous valuation of KRW 17 billion. Although Indonesia’s healthcare market continues to grow due to rising demand—driven in part by its for-profit corporate structure—it still suffers from a critical shortage of facilities. As a result, many Indonesians are forced to seek medical care abroad in countries like Malaysia and Singapore.
For instance, Siloam Hospital, one of Indonesia’s major medical institutions, currently has more than 30,000 patients on its monthly waiting list, highlighting the strained condition of the local healthcare system. Within this context, the new PDT (Photodynamic Therapy) specialized cancer hospital is expected to alleviate some of the demand currently placed on Siloam.
The FS report estimates that the hospital will be able to treat 30 patients per day; however, this figure reflects the minimum operational capacity. If the hospital were to accommodate 50 patients daily, its value could rise to KRW 82.6 billion (approx. USD 60 million), suggesting strong potential for higher returns.

Hospital operations under the Wise Alya project will officially begin on May 8. While general medical services are already underway, the full transition into a PDT-focused cancer hospital is expected to take approximately three months.
