Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities
• Solicit required manuscripts from potential authors
• Evaluate manuscripts and comment on their suitability for publication
• Prepare summary plans for books to be published
• Edit manuscripts and prepare them for publication
• Participate effectively in Editorial
• Board Meetings
• Make effective impact in the publishing tasks of the company
• Be a good team player in an active growing publishing company
Qualifications:
• Holders of a good university degree in the relevant subjects
• A masters degree would be an added advantage
• Teaching experience in the relevant subjects of at least 5 years
• Fluency in both spoken and written Kiswahili and English
• Proven evidence of interest in the field of publishing and books
