Introduction:
My client is a leading global provider of technology solutions for the energy industry. The Company operate in 15 countries around the world with over 10,000 employees and holds a global reputation for their innovation and excellence.
The technology and engineering centre in Dunfermline, is responsible for the design and manufacture of subsea trees, wellhead systems and associated equipment and employs a dedicated project management team leading a vast number of diverse technical projects.
The Role:
Reporting to the Business Manager, this position will take overall responsibility for the project life cycle from quotation through to execution.
Key contribution areas include:
• Leading a multi-disciplinary project team to achieve the highest standards of project execution for the customer.
• Fully responsible for customer accountability regards the project lifecycle and also act as the main client interface on all project matters.
• To manage the customer relationship and communication throughout the project life cycle, including regular reporting to the customer.
• Managing the financial performance of all allocated projects (including risk management).
• Identify and manage project stakeholders (internal and external) so that project objectives can be effectively achieved.
The Candidate:
You will have sound experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects with a solid engineering background.
Your industry background may include Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Marine or medium-heavy engineering. You will also have certification in a recognised Project Management methodology (PRINCE 2, APM)
There will be some travel expected in this post, mainly within Europe.
