bring on recruiters who can work with us year-over-year as part of the
fellowship selection process.

are seeking a Contract Recruiter to support selection in our flagship
ProInspire Fellowship program. The ProInspire Fellowship supports outstanding
young business professionals to transition into the nonprofit sector. The
ProInspire Fellowship aims to expand the social sector’s talent pipeline,
develop professionals, and increase diversity in the sector. The program
recruits young professionals from leading investment banks, consulting firms
and major corporations, and places them with nonprofits/social enterprises
focused on access to education, employment, housing, youth development, impact
investing, and philanthropy. Since we launched this extremely competitive
program in 2009:

have placed 100 Fellows with 45 Partners in DC and SF - More
than 3,000 candidates have applied, with the top 4% becoming Fellows - More
than 50% of Fellows are persons of color - 70%
of nonprofit partners keep their current Fellow or hire a new Fellow each
year - Nearly
100% of Fellows rate extremely high satisfaction with the Fellowship as an
entry point into the social sector

is not a recruiting firm. As a fellowship program, we first look for candidates
who meet our criteria to be fellows. Then we “match” those fellows
with our nonprofit and social enterprise partners. The partners conduct
in-person interviews and have final say on selection of their fellows. In 2015,
we received over 700 applications, conducted phone interviews with 200
candidates, and placed 24 fellows at our partner organizations.

Responsibilities:
- Participate
in a weekly selection team meeting (during business hours) - Participate
in needs assessment call with partner organizations (during business
hours) - Take
ownership for all fellowship roles within a specific function (either
finance/accounting focus, data analysis focus, or operations/project
management focus) - Identify
recruiting sources for applicants with experience in your function - Review
all applications within your function and select candidates to move
forward for interviews - Review
case study responses (As needed, if further information is needed to
assess a candidate) - Write interview notes·Conduct
4 phone interviews per week during peak selection (scheduled at your
convenience) - Track
candidate information in application database - Work
with selection committee to “match” Fellows with potential
partners

Pay:
$25
per hour. Please note, we do not pay commission given the structure of our
Fellowship program. Although ProInspire is run like an entrepreneurial venture,
we are a nonprofit organization with limited funding. We are not looking for
someone who wants a “job”, but someone who wants to make a difference
with his/her talents and experience.

- Bachelor’s
degree required - Experience
conducting interviews - Understanding
of skills needed for at least one of the following functions
(finance/accounting, data analysis, operations/project management) - Strong
entrepreneurial spirit with dedication to scaling our impact - Self-starting,
creative, high-energy, extremely organized, attentive to detail - Ability
to work independently and maintain high level of productivity in virtual
office environment
