-General laboratory skills Solid practical research background
-Experience in plant molecular biology
-Experience in plant biochemistry and signalling pathways
-Experienced in the use of molecular biology techniques
-In-depth knowledge of health and safety requirements and Good Laboratory Practice

Scholarship Description: Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the research group of Dr Matthew Terry in the centre for Biological Sciences to study chloroplast-to-nucleus signalling in Arabidopsis. The project is in collaboration with Professor Alison Smith (University of Cambridge). Previous experience in plant molecular biology is required and you should be an enthusiastic and well-motivated scientist, capable of contributing substantially to developing the research project; a good team-worker and an excellent communicator.
