The Position:
Want to work in sales with a first-class company? Pegasystems is looking for a
visionary self-starter to fill the position of Solutions Consultant. The
Solutions Consultant’s role is to work with the Sales Team throughout the life
cycle of the sales campaign and to own all technical activities required at
different stages within the sales life cycle. The ideal Sales Consultant will
never be bored through the sales cycle. The process begins with assisting in
lead generation activity and includes pre-sales qualification steps,
identificatio

n of business drivers and solution requirements, creation of
technical demos and Proof of Concepts (POCs), architecture presentations and
ROI models, and ends with sales closure. The position is well-suited for a
candidate that wants to go beyond sales, since the role requires hands-on work
with the product.

In this
role, you will:

  • Plan
    sales campaigns in conjunction with account executives, deliver technical
    and business solutions to the sales campaigns
  • Build
    and deliver demos and POCs, ensure that all success criteria are delivered
    and product differentiators are included
  • Lead
    and collaborate with a team product managers, software developers,
    analysts, and business officers to execute sales strategy

The Person:

is a master of technical sales materials, able to offer in-depth advice team
members of other departments and to generate presentation materials for
clients.


Qualifications
will include
:

  • BA/BS
    Degree or equivalent business experience
  • 3 to
    15+ years of industry experience
  • Ability
    to utilize technology-based tools, languages and programs
  • Ability
    to proactively develop customer relationships via correspondence and
    solutions
  • Detailed
    knowledge of Pega products and services
  • Deep
    domain expertise and industry knowledge in targeted vertical
