An excellent career opportunity has arisen in one of Glasgow’s leading outsourcers for a driven and motivated Outbound Sales Team Leader with proven experience in a dynamic and fast paced Call Centre environment.
Role Overview:
The purpose of this role will be to drive and deliver exceptional performance, through powerful leadership and performance development through the Outbound Sales Team .To be successful within this position, you must have: experience of managing a team in an outbound sales environment with strong coaching and performance management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Motivating a high performing team of 10 Account Managers in a busy and dynamic call centre environment, to deliver exceptional performance.
* Accountable for ensuring overall achievement of performance objectives for your team, including sales operational performance, lead generation, financial targets, relevant productivity targets, external and internal customer experience and employee satisfaction.
* Determine and agree team performance objectives, effectively communicating performance development planning process and providing regular assessment and review of performance.
* Work with Account Managers to achieve consistency across the team, by building awareness of team strengths and development needs; using this to maximise potential through ongoing coaching, development and recognition.
* Management of attendance levels, poor performance, disciplinary & grievance issues / procedures.
Key Skills / Experience required:
* Significant outbound sales operational experience gained in a result driven contact centre environment, at Team Leader level or above.
* Proven ability of leading and driving teams to deliver successfully on objectives and key performance indicators.
* Proven track record of delivering and monitoring sales performance; identifying performance improvements.
* In depth knowledge of outbound sales techniques; including Outbound Acquisition, Up Selling, Retention and Win Back methodologies
This immediate role will initially be a contract position moving to permanent after 13 weeks probation.
Hours of work will be Monday – Friday 8.00am-4.00pm or 9.00am-5.00pm
