part of a series of upcoming agricultural trials aimed at increasing farmer
productivity through mass marketing, we are seeking a “Government Services
Trial Manager Assistant” Successful candidates will be reporting
directly to Trial Managers, engage with farmers across the District and will
contribute to an impact evaluation that may lead to a national campaign in season
18A. Successful applicants must be hardworking, humble, prepared to work in the
field, and want to make a lasting contribution to serving farmers.

Duties
and Responsibilities

- Monitoring
and implementation of dailytrial operational activities - Quality
assurance on trial implementation in the assigned district to ensure
compliance to roles and responsibilities of assigned in the trial design - Facilitate
the M&E surveys to helpdetermine trial impact - Daily
interaction with farmers, village leaders, farmer promoters and SEDO’s - Assist
farmer promoters to coordinate farmer training and distribution of inputs
/ materials - Support
One Acre Fund relations with local authorities and farmers - Coordinate
and support the supply of different materials or inputs in the pilot
project sectors - Track
and communicate to Government services team and manager on the pilot’s
implementation - Send
weekly reports on the project’s implementation, covering Key performance
Indicators, problems and all other relevant matters - Occasionally
assume role of Trial Manager in their absence
Requirements
- Commitment
to living in a rural area for an extended period of time. Ideally
candidates will come from the assigned Districts. - Leadership
experience at work, or outside of work - Excellent
communication skills in Kinyarwanda and basic knowledge in English - Ability
to use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word to create written reports and
populate tracking spreadsheets
- Strong
performing academic background (at least A-level, but preferably Bachelors
ideally in agriculture, business or related field).
