One Acre Fund is a social enterprise that serves
smallholder farmers with a bundle of training, inputs and credit. Currently,
we serve around 53,000 Rwandan farmers, under the brand ‘Tubura’. We do not
give handouts, but ask farmers to invest in our future through participating
in our program. Their

investment in modern agricultural techniques
increases their harvest. To further equip Tubura to make Rwandan smallholder
farmers more prosperous, we are looking for six exceptional personalities to

Job Descriptions

OAF is currently seeking to fill 6 positions
(each with specific requirements listed below):

1. Financial technical officer (Location:
Rubengera, Karongi)

BA with proof of exceptional performance, or
MA in business, finance or related field
Proven experience in management of teams
Proven interest and experience in
agriculture or microfinance

2. Statistics technical officer
(Location: Rubengera, Karongi)

MA in social sciences with focus on
statistical analysis
Proven experience in management of teams
Proven on the ground experience with
M&E, as well as proven experience in setting up research.

3. HR managing officer (Location:
Rubengera, Karongi)

BA in social sciences, with proof of
exceptional performance
Experience in a number of different
organizations
Extraordinary experience with enrolling
people in a new environment

4. Market access technical officer

MA in agricultural development, business or
related field.
At least 3 years of solid working experience
in agriculture or other related field
Proven experience in management of teams

5. Logistics technical officer
(Location: Rubengera, Karongi)

BA in an exact science, with proof of
exceptional performance
Proven experience in strategic planning of
operations with a client component
Proven experience in management of
teams

6. Operations managing officer (Location:
Kayonza, Kayonza)

BA or MA in business administration
Proven experience in agricultural value
chains
Proven experience in management of
teams

We ask, besides specific requirements:

Willingness to commit for at least 2 years
(we will emphasize this in the application process)
Commitment to living in a rural area for an
extended period of time
Excellent command of English and French
Excellent Microsoft Excel and Data Analysis
skills: Comfortable manipulating large data sets,
using vlookups, pivot tables, etc.
At least 2 years of solid working
experience

and education, between 200,000 and 650,000 RWF per month (before taxes).
