– Research Project 3 for Urban and Regional Planning
– Methods and Techniques in Urban and Regional Planning
– GIS for Urban and Regional Planning
– Supervise Research projects in the field of urban and regional planning
b. Other competencies
– A good command of English
– Knowledge of Geo-Information Sciences and Remote Sensing
– Must be able to provide required reports and other working documents on time
– Must have a high level of integrity and very good sense of responsibility
– Provide community services
POSITION III
The National University of Rwanda wishes to recruit one Lecturer. The ideal candidates should have a PhD in Physical Geography with at least two years experience in teaching. The successful candidate will be given a two years renewable contract.
a. Key functions of the staff are to teach the following modules;
– Introduction to Physical Geography
– Introduction to GIS and Cartography
– Principles of Remote Sensing and Photo-Interpretation
– Final research Projects Preparation
– Supervise Research projects in the field of physical Geography
b. Other competencies
– A good command of English
– Knowledge of Geo-Information Sciences and Remote Sensing
– Must be able to provide required reports and other working documents on time
– Must have a high level of integrity and very good sense of responsibility
– Provide community services
