Description:
• Manage all aspects of Logistics and Transportation of our captive cargo.
• Responsible for setting up and managing day-to-day operations along with building the team and infrastructure and ensure that all purchases are within set budgetary limits.
• Coordinate with external Agency and internal Setup to ensure that the Vehicles are maintained, deployed and optimally utilized & operational efficiency is maintained.
• Responsible for tracking and monitoring captive cargo from Zambia to Tanzania
• Responsible for controlling the cost of transportation, covering in-land, on- road/off-road, and ocean freight
• To manage deliverable stocking efficiently and minimize breakages.
• To handle the labor at the loading/unloading site efficiently so as to minimize time and labor costs.
• MIS generation about dispatches / transport service / distribution / inward-outward material movement.
• Responsible for developing robust software for Fleet Management & Maintenance Systems & Processes to ensure proper tracking and minimal downtime of vehicles deployed on the roads.
Desired Candidate Profile:
• Education: (UG – Any Graduate – Any Specialization) AND (PG – Post Graduation Not Required)
• Proficiency in English and verbal / written communication.
• Experience of Team Handling
• Well versed with Acquisition Processes, Systems, Registration & Compliance Documentation
