Nematodes are invertebrate
endoparasites, commonly referred to as round worms. The ones that parasitizes
man which are of medical importance are classified into two major groups
(order) according to their habitat and mode of development in the human body.
They are:

i.The intestinal nematodes
ii.The blood/tissues nematodes
Intestinal Nematodes includes:

     Ascaris lumbricoides

    Anoylostoma duodenale — human species of
hookworm
Ø 
    Necator trichiura
Ø 
    Enterobius vermiculoris
Ø 
    Stronglyloides stercoralis
Ø 
    Trichinelta spirallis
Blood/tissue nematodes  (frlarial worms)
Ø       Onchocercca volvulus
Ø        Dracumculus medinensis
Ø        Wuchereria bancrofi
Ø        Loa loa (eye worm)
