National Institute for Legislative Studies Information Officer Job Vacancy in Nigeria

The National Institute for Legislative Studies (NILS) was established early in 2011 following the enactment of the enabling legislation. NILS is designed to be a centre of excellence providing technical support to the work of the National Assembly through research and publications on democratic governance, and legislative practice and procedures.

Job Title: Information Officer
Location: Abuja

Responsibilities
o Supervise and provide practical training to subordinates
o Develop and organize linkages with national and international media organization.
o Media monitoring to determine matters that affect the Institute. Also, required write feature articles and booklets/pamphlets relating to the institute’s activities.

Qualifications and Requirements
o Possession of a Master’s degree from a recognized university, preferably in the area of arts, social sciences with at least 3 years cognate experience.
o Or direct appointment of candidate possessing any of the qualification for information assistant plus 3 years cognate experience.
