experienced individuals to fill the positions of:

ADVERTISING MANAGER

Reporting to the
Managing Director, the Advertising Manager will lead a team of Advertising
professionals to ensure that all the Company’s products get the necessary
Advertising support and provide t

he Company with up to date marketing
intelligence and research information to facilitate sound business decision
making so as to meet business objectives.

KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Plans and
coordinates advertising strategies and activities to meet the company’s
business objectives.

– Negotiates annual
advertising contracts with representatives of major advertising clients.
-Identifies manpower requirements and liaises with HR for recruitment.

– Appraises staff
with a view to identify training needs and develops their potential.

– Reviews
performance regularly with staff to ensure focus and guides them accordingly.

-Develops incentive
schemes to motivate staff through dynamic commission schemes and recognition
programs.

– Develops
innovative ideas for existing and new products in close liaison with the
marketing manager, finance manager and managing director for input and or
approval and implementation.

– Assists the Sales
Team in resolving clients’ issues/complaints.

– Determines the
contribution of each section, plans for the delivery of agreed targets and
closely monitors performance by holding regular meetings with the team to
review and and plan performance and to provide guidance.

– Manages
outstanding debts at reasonably acceptable level through regular debt reviews

of the client’s
accounts to determine credit worthiness and to recommend way forward.
-Evaluates MCL’s products performance against competition with a view to
increasing

audience market
shares.

– Reviews the
pricing structure in liaison with the sales managers and finance manager and
recommends appropriate changes.

– Develops and
implements custqmer base growth and retention programs as guided by the
customer service policy.

– Ensures that there
exists an approved sales policy and processes and that the sales team complies
with it without compromise.

– Ensures that there
exists Customer Relationship Management policy and processes and are both
operational.

– Ensures in liaison
with HR manager, there exists a robust people plan process and management
commitments.

MINIMUM
QUALIFICATTION AND EXPERIENCE

– Bachelor Degree in
Business Administration, Marketing. A master’s degree in Business Management
will be an added advantage.

– Excellent
communication skills both English and Kiswahili. .

– Must be
self-motivated and energetic/energizes others to execute plans, expects the
best, open minded and upholds high integrity.

– Have ability to
work under minimum supervision with both managerial and leadership skills with
the right attitude

– Has 5-7 years
working experience at managerial sales position in a contemporary corporate
commercial environment.
