The Nigerian Super Eagles’ assistant captain, Ahmed Musa has announced the death of his mother.
The Nigerian Super Eagles and Saudi Arabian Al-Nassr Club football star made this announcement on his verified twitter handle @Ahmedmusa718 on Thursday.
He made the announcement by posting a tweet consisting a sad eleven (11) words post which reads, “What a sad day of my life, just lose my mum.”

The Nigerian Super Eagles and Saudi Arabian Al-Nassr Club forwarder who had in several times described his mother as the pillar of his football career has earlier hinted that his mother had been ill when he posted on his verified twitter handle wishing her to get well soon with a message that reads, “I am sure being tucked in bed is not the best thing you know to do. All your children are waiting for you to get out of bed and say ‘I am back in action’. Get well soon Sweet Mum!”
