Background of the project :
The Ministry of Youth and ICT in partnership with Ministry of Local Government, Imbuto Foundation, Faith Based Organizations, Civil Society launched the 3rd phase to eradicate drugs under a project called neighbor’s eye to eradicate drugs in Rwanda under the theme : “Dushyire hamwe twese twubake u Rwanda ruzira ibiyobyabwenge,Let all build a Rwanda free of drugs”with as above entitled. The role of the coordinator will be to ensure good coordination of all activities for a period of six months.
Duties :
Under the supervision of Director for Youth Policy and Programs Coordination Unit, the Neighbor’s eye project Coordinator will perform among other duties the following :
• To coordinate all the activities of the project;
• To ensure that technical teams are set from District to Umudugudu level;
• To organise training of trainers at all levels;
• To prepare plan of action and insure smooth implementation;
• To supervise volunteers at district level;
• To liaise with existing technical team at Ministry and District level;
• To work closely with the NYC to ensure youth participation;
• To produce regular progress reports;
• To work closely with the national Ad hoc Committee and Technical team;
• Draft exit strategies;
• Perform any other duties
Requirements :
• Candidates should have a Master or a bachelor degree in Education, Psychology, Management, Social studies and Public Administration with 5 years working experience .
• Knowledge of English, French and Kinyarwanda is required.
