Our client, the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF), through the Government of Uganda, has received credit from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) towards financing an eight year second phase of the Vegetable Oil Development Project (VODP2). MAAIF will be responsible for the implementation of the project as the lead Project agency, supported by other implementation partners and a strong Public-Private Sector Partnership.
MAAIF is to establish a Project Management Unit to spearhead the Implementation of VODP 2.

Procurement Officer (1 Position):
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Procurement Officer will have responsibility for coordinating and supervising procurement of goods and services for the project.
Requirement: Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain or Procurement and Logistics Management or Commerce or related field; and a full professional qualifications in purchasing and supply chain management from CIPS/ISM
• A minimum of Five years of relevant experience, three of which must be at senior procurement level in a public organization.
Salary: – USD/month
