nationally and internationally. Recently, an opportunity for an experienced
Quality Manager has been made available who will play a key role in driving the
business forward to support and build on their long-term growth strategy.
The Quality Manager will
drive systems, procedures and internal teams to
increase or maintain high standards of product quality and improve process
development within their flagship plant.
The Quality Manager will be required to bring technical process and analytical
expertise to establish a shared Quality vision that is recognised by staff,
customers and competitors within the industry. They will lead and develop the
plant’s Quality assurance program and have the ‘courage’ to implement World-Class
standards including WQA, BRC and Coles Plus in a plant that continues to grow.
Your team will be responsible for identifying root causes of poor quality and
ensure that all customers receive product on time, within specification and
fault free.
The Quality Manager will be fundamental to the organisation providing direct
input implementing centralised quality strategy and policies to meet
organisational needs, as well as the implementation of a product quality risk
mitigation strategy including process engineering and standardisation.
Tertiary qualified in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Quality Management or
similar, the ideal candidate will have direct experience working within a food
manufacturing environment, preferably baking. The right candidate has
demonstrated strong leadership of quality assurance teams and in driving an
overall site quality culture within a medium to large sized operation. With a
successful track record in achieving and maintaining current Australian retail
food quality standards including WQA, BRC, Coles Plus and/or SQF, the Quality
Manager will be recognised for superior communication and as a change agent.
Experience in perishable food manufacturing (Dairy/Meat/Baking) preferred.
