Role Purpose
Accountable for the transmission network quality check and optimization for
effective monitoring and sustainable operation of the transmission network systems
in order to maintain a high availability / high quality of transmission network
in accordance with MIC’s planned commitments and according to MIC standard.
Key Responsibilities
– To deliver a consistent high-quality corporate network against agreed benchmarks
set out in the support strategy that incorporates and reflects the current and
future needs of the business goals.
– Solve problems in existing networks, fully make use of existing resources and
reasonable use of these resources to easy operation, maintenance and smooth
network expansion and upgrading
– Conduct regular check of network synchronization degradation and work close
with transmission planning design engineer to come up with remedial solution.
– Conduct regular and ad-hoc system/equipment and fault rectification
maintenance and system/network outage.
– Specify the impact of the transmission problems on the GSM 2G/ 3G networks
(Drop call, outage, blocking etc) and determine the problem’s causes and
provide recommendations and advice
Position Requirements
– BSc. Telecommunication, Communication Engineering
– 2- 4 years work experience in Transmission and Optimization
– Proficient in the use of different network management systems (NMS)
