Role Purpose
Responsible for supervision of the NOC team, continuously monitor and
report all network malfunctioning in any of the nodes/ elements in real time.
He/ She has to ensure network availability is maintained at 99.9%
and liaise with other sections and departments to improve and maintain
network quality as per the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist the Head of NOC to follow up with relevant sections for
resolution of all faults
– Ensure real time monitoring and reporting of all network faults and
alarms to all stakeholders as prescribed in the fault escalation matrix
– Make sure all Network Change Request documents are well organized and filed; thus,
work order is assigned for every CR and the file is updated on daily bases
– Supervise, motivate and handle disciplinary issues for the NOC team,
the incumbent will also responsible to prepare work roaster and monitor team
performance.
– Ensure that all network management tools are in perfect operating condition
and when a problem occur to ensure that they are restored on a timely manner
Position Requirements
– BSc. in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering or any other
related field, masters degree will be an added advantage
– Minimum of 3 years work experience in related field
