Our Superannuation
and Insurance department assists individuals who have ceased work due to an
illness or injury, to make a claim as part of the insurance cover attached to
their Superannuation.
This provides individuals and their families with a level
of security when they are no longer able to work. The type of claims range from
Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) Claims, Death Claims, Income Protection
and Life Insurance Claims.
The team are
currently looking to recruit a Legal Assistant on a part-time (3 days per week)
basis. The role will be based in the Hamilton Hill office, Perth.
Your
responsibilities will include:
- Managing
all of the new client enquiries from the Public Trustee; - Conducting
initial investigations into potential claims; - Answering
and managing incoming calls; - Liaising
with internal and external clients; - Coordinating
appointments for clients; and - Providing
day-to-day administrative support.
Ideally you will
have:
- Exceptional
customer service skills; - Excellent
written and verbal communication skills; - Strong
attention to detail; - Ability
to handle high volume administration and juggle multiple priorities; - Ability
to work under pressure in a fast paced environment; - Excellent
organisational and time management skills; - Proficiency
with the Microsoft Office suite; and - Experience
in the legal, insurance or medical profession desirable.
This role will
mainly provide quality administrative support and exceptional client service.

background and someone who is willing to grow and develop their skills in a
