Meridian Business Support urgently require a Material Controller/Planner for there prestigious food production client in Glasgow. The position will be temporary for 13 weeks with a view to a permanent position. The successful candidate must be available to work full time day hours for the first 3-4 weeks, then moving on to a part time shift 5 days a week, 4 hours approx per day,be IT literate and experience in Promix would be an advantage although full training will be given.
Duties will include Timely ordering /replenishing raw materials and packaging to the factory for production and to agreed stock levels.Placing of orders to suppliers and transfer order to central distribution centre.Monitoring supplier deliveries and chasing the outstanding orders.Control point between Purchasing and Factory with regards to Factory expectations and deliverables.Back up to Planner and customer Service.
