JOB TITLE:
PURCHASING OFFICER
EMPLOYMENT
STATUS: PERMANENT
JOB SUMMARY:
The
successful candidate would be responsible for all storeroom duties which
include but are not limited to
controlling the flow of stock through the
storeroom, monitoring goods in and out, safely and efficiently moving and
handling items and keeping stock records.
Requirements
MAIN
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Place
purchase orders for goods requested and ensure timely delivery - Receive
good delivered by suppliers and verify if satisfactory goods to delivery
note/ invoice - Assist
in processing of stock purchase orders through Pastel - Issue
stock from stores & cellar to outlets - Ensure
Cleanliness of all store rooms and trucks - Ensure
sufficient stock and liaise with stock Controller and Food & Beverage
Manager/ Chef - Ensure
that monthly stock takes are accurate and variances resolved timeously - Manage
all receiving clerks in stores
EDUCATION: The successful candidate
should have CIPS/ AAT or a related qualification
EXPERIENCE: The candidate should have at
least 2 years working experience in the related field.
CORE
COMPETENCIES: The
successful candidate should be able to carry a heavy load (receiving and
loading goods), have strong communication skills be a team player with strong
individual motivation.
