Manpower Electrician/Verification Officer Job Vacancy in Australia

Our client is a Western Australian Government
trading enterprise responsible for strategic management of several of Perth’s
ports. They require an electrician for a 3 month contract with the option of a
possible extension.

The successful applicant’s duties will involve:

Examining, diagnosing, modifying, correcting,
testing and installing electrical systems in accordance with applicable
standards and the maintenance planning systems.
Working from schematic drawings, prints, plans
or manuals and record modifications.
Carrying out activities including pre work,
preparation of JSA’s, organising materials, execution, test out and hand
back and sign off.
Completing required documentation.

Applicants must also possess:

Relevant Electrical trade qualification and WA
Office of Energy electrical licence.
Experience with power distribution, control systems
(relay logic and PLC preferred), electrical motors and generators (AC and
DC preferred), hydraulics, pneumatics and materials handling equipment.
Electrical maintenance services experience in
a heavy industry environment.
Experience in performing high voltage
switching
Working at Heights.
Current ‘C’ or ‘CA’ class drivers licence.
