Intern at ManoRun Organic Farm for the summer and fall. ManoRun offers 5 intern positions each season. We are looking for 1-2 interns to start anytime this summer and stay through to the end of October.
Included in the internship are: lots of learning opportunities both in the field and out of the field. Education includes daily and weekly meetings, a day each week to work on your own farm related focus. Educational focuses have included, bread baking, medicinal herbs, marketing, fermentations, urban agriculture, flowers and food preserving. In addition the farm offers educational farm tours of other area farms 2 days each month. Field work includes, planting, weeding and harvesting. The farm grows organic vegetables, herbs, grains, pasture and raises livestock.
Interns are housed on the farm and food is provided. There is a monthly stipend of $100.00
