MHSP-TA is recruiting a Health Service Contract National
Counterpart to be based in Lilongwe to provide full time technical assistance
to the CHAM Secretariat and the ministry of Health on Service Level Agreements
(SLAs) as well as potentially advise the Ministry of Health on other types of
service partnerships for a period of 18 months

Contribute to the provision of Service Contracting technical
assistance to CHAM and the ministry of Health Department of planning and policy
Development, working for an natal 6 months with an international Service
Contract Advisor, Strengthen CHAM and Ministry of Health working relationships
related to Service level Agreements (SLAs), Provide a main contact on SLAs for
Zonal offices, District Health Teams and CHAM proprietors, Support the revision
and roll out of new SLAs between Districts and CHAM facilities, Provide inputs
into and support capacity development of CHAM staff and MOH teams in contract
management
assistance to CHAM and the ministry of Health Department of planning and policy

Professional Degree in Management, Health Administration or
similar, Good experience in contract management and administration,
Understanding and experience of working in the Malawi health sector,
Demonstrable ability to multi task, Experience in providing technical
assistance and in developing business/administrative related capacity,
Demonstrable negotiation, collaboration and facilitation skills, Willingness to
apply oneself to detailed work, such as revising the basis for costing
contracts, as well as contract renegotiations where required, Demonstrable
written and verbal English communication skills
