mp – WASH Facilitator. This position will be based in
at Mahama Sector, Kirehe District, Eastern Province and reporting to the Mahama Refugee Camp – WASH Manager. This
is a one year program.

The
major responsibilities include:

- Plan, facilitate and conduct
behavioral change activities using recommended promotion approaches for Rwanda in collaboration with community
health workers in the Mahama Refugee Camp and the neighboring community. - Plan, facilitate and conduct
behavioral change activities using recommended promotion approaches for Rwanda in schools and Health Centers around the Mahama Refugee camp - Closely follow up and monitor
behavioral change activities implementation and their output/outcome
within the camp and the surrounding community to identify corrective
measures for implementation. - Coordinate the work of the social
mobilizers in the camp, collect and compile their reports. - Initiate, plan and provide training
to mothers on personal hygiene, water storage and handling and hand
washing. - Prepare quality progress reports
monthly, quarterly, biannually and annually that clearly narrate the
activities carried out within the reporting period. - Carry out assessments related to WASH
in the camp and the neighborhood. - Create and organize the hygiene clubs
and WASH committees towards the sustainability of WASH infrastructures and
services in the camp. - Create networking and partnership
with relevant partners operating in the camp or at the district level to
enhance WASH behavioral Change promotion.
Qualifications:

The
following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education,
prior experience or on-the-job training:

- Qualification required: BSc in
Environmental Health, Public health or Social Sciences and related fields
with 2 years experience on sanitation and hygiene in WASH in emergency situations. - Experience on CLTS and PHAST models.
Knowledge of CBEHPP being an asset. - Computer literate: Micro Soft word,
excel and internet - Other NGO experience will be also an
asset

- Must be a committed Christian, able
to stand above denominational diversities. - Attend and participate in daily
