Two Partners with complex commercial litigation focus on ‘heady’ supreme / high
court applications for special leave. Professional disputes across engineering,
architects and accountants. They also
enjoy a high volume of referral matters
from their leading property practice.
Active in various mediations, both partners act for a range of stakeholders
including voluntary administrations, receiverships, liquidations and
provisional liquidations. There is a substantial team of 15 underneath this
with a strong volume debt recovery basis amongst its junior lawyers. One of the
two has been highly active in some of the notable corporate collapses in the
Australian market over recent years.
This role will appeal to an associate that is looking to develop their own network
rather than be ‘back room’ focused in technical delivery for existing
litigation partners. If you have a natural acumen to be client facing and
what to enhance your own network early in your career, you will appreciate this
leading mid tier.
