to connect and empower people to restore polluted places, protect human health,
and promote thriving natural spaces.


We are looking for a research assistant who is curious, detail-oriented, and
passionate about Great Lakes issues. You are perfect for this position if you
get excited thinking about spending your summer reading and summarizing the
decade’s top freshwater issues.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
• summarizing Waterkeeper’s casework on Great Lakes issues from 2015-2016,
• writing summaries of cases and issues for www.waterkeeper.ca,
• providing research support for the development of speeches and presentations
in our Campaign for Water Literacy.

You should apply for this position if:

Our funding requires that you be returning to school in September 2016 and are
under the age of 30. This position is funded by the Canada Summer Jobs program.

Compensation and hours:

Hours: 30 hours/week for 8 weeks.

Compensation: $15/ hour.
