Komatsu is looking
for Parts Interpreters in their Botswana office.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

2 – 3 Diploma in Supply Chain Management

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum
    2 – 4 years post qualification experience in the mining industry with
    prove technical support and management record
  • Experience
    working with parts would be an advantage

SPECIFIC
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • MS
    Excel
  • SAP
    Orders

SUMMARY
DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

1. Parts Sales

  • Executes
    parts sales
  • Providing
    advice to customer
  • Executes
    the parts ordering process
  • Administrates
    the introduction of new parts into system
  • Follows
    up on emergency orders
  • Follows
    up on back orders
  • Generates
    Parts Inventory Availability Reports
  • Generates
    backorder report
  • Executes
    Parts Returns from customer
  • Executes
    and participates in stock counts
  • Executes
    general office administration

2. Parts
Stock Count

  • Executes
    and participates in stock counts –
  • Daily
    and at other frequencies when required
  • Prints
    stock reports on variances, write-offs/write-ups for review by management

3. Safety
Health & Environment Role Content

  • Implement
    the Komatsu Way 5Ss – sorting, organising, cleaning, ordering and training
  • Adheres
    to SHE policies and procedures
  • Instructs
    / imparts knowledge and procedures to colleagues
