Our Client: A large Queensland Govt agency based in Brisbane CBD is looking for Program Director to manage the Microsoft Migration and Transformation Programme. The program Director will be responsible for successful transition of business units and their user communities to the new working environment including their business applications and familiarisation with core applications to maximise business benefit.
Responsibilities:
The program director is responsible for providing leadership, management, coordination, and direction to teams delivering ICT Projects as part of a program.
The program director will liaise closely with ICT Project Managers, clients and stakeholders to plan, prioritise and resource the program.
A program director is responsible for leading and managing the setting up of the program through to the delivery of the new capabilities and realisation of benefits.
The program director role involves proactive interventions and decision-making to ensure that the program stays on track
Ability to work positively with the full range of individuals and groups involved in the program – particularly the senior responsible owner and any business change manager(s).
Ensure the alignment of Program & Project activities and outcomes with business direction and priority needs both at a strategic and tactical level.
Planning, directing, leading and coordinating activities to manage, implement and deliver the Microsoft Migration Program and interrelated projects from concept/ideas submission to final operationalisation.
Develop and drive practical execution of change management and communications strategies and plans.
Planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting on activities relating to the program providing transparent reporting to key stakeholders including financial and status reporting.
This role requires strong experience in Leadership , management and Delivery of critical projects and also ability to establish relationship with variety of stakeholders. If you have the experience of working in large and complex project environments, have a proven track record of delivery projects successfully within given timelines and budgets then this could be a perfect opportunity for you.
