Kigali Health Institute Business development Limited (KHIBD Ltd) is a limited company owned by Kigali Health Institute. Applicants are invited for the position of Procurement officer KHIBD Limited.
1. Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for the development and implementation of the company procurement function ;
• Accountable for inventory and managing procurements cycle targets.
• Work closely with clinical coordinators to identify economic and reliable sources of goods and services
• Administer existing contracts, monitor contract escalations and pricing mechanisms
• Monitor and manage supplier performance
• Develop annual procurement plans for the company
• Responsible for stock management of clinics
• Budgeting and cash flow forecasting for the various income generating units
• Identify procurement process improvements and facilitate implementation
• To carry out other duties as directed by the management of the company
2. Academic and professional qualification
• The required candidate must have BBA degree in Accounting or Finance, Procurement or in other relevant fields with four (4) years experience in accounting and/or a finance management
• Possession of relevant professional certifications is an added advantage
• Maximum Age 40 years.
3. Important skills and competencies
• Up-to-date knowledge of business and financial management issues
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of public procurement procedures
• Good knowledge and understanding of international accounting standards and best practice
• Good leadership and management capabilities
• Ability to think strategically ; Good planning and organization abilities. Fluent in English language and French.
• Computer literate
