With offices in both Canada and the U.S., Ryan Energy is poised to serve both the North American and International marketplaces. Ryan Energy Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated, organized, and detail oriented individual to join us in our Leduc, Alberta facility. As Shop Technician, you will report to the Drilling Equipment Coordinator and provide Ryan Energy field operations with a top-notch, reliable fleet of Measurement While Drilling (MWD) and Directional Drilling tools.

Shop Technician
Essential Job Functions
* Shipping, receiving and inspection of Ryan’s motors and related drilling equipment
* Coordinating inspection services and repairs to equipment
* Arranging transfers & transportation of tools
* Coordinating and/or delivering equipment to the field
* Recording all transfers of equipment to & from the facility
* Sharing on-call responsibilities after hours & weekends
* Fostering & maintaining a professional and teamwork oriented environment
* Adhering to safety standards, policies, & procedures

Education & Related Experience
* High School diploma
* Forklift and/or Overhead Crane experience preferred
* 1-2 years oilfield experience considered an asset

Skill Requirements
* Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs
* Mechanical aptitude
* Capable of doing physical labour for a minimum 8 hour period
* Valid Class 5 driver’s license in good standing
