of People and Culture on behalf of IREMBO, a
technology company that designs and develops digital products focused on users
in Africa, starting with Rwanda. IremboGov, Irembo’s pioneer product, is a
government services platform. To date, it has 4.3M users in Rwanda and offers
over 85 services online. Irembo is using this experience to develop a wide
range of products that will transform the tech ecosystem as we know it.

ROLE
The
Director of People & Culture will lead the charge in building an
outstanding work environment that allows the team to thrive and do
extraordinary work – from planning fun company events to implementing new
hiring strategies, designing the best employee benefits package to making sure
the office
is running as efficiently as possible.

What
you will do:

- Collaborate
as a member of the leadership team to map talent strategy to business
strategy. Strategic vision — ability to see where the business is headed
and develop programs proactively to make sure our team is able to deliver. - Manage
the hiring process and ensure that Irembo is an employer of choice in our
field. - Promote
a progressive culture, champion and grow of Irembo’s company culture, help
the team continually live our values through effective
programs and internal communications to promote morale and achieve our
goals. - Enhance
the talent-management process including recruiting, on boarding,
performance management, team development, retention, and succession. - Create
progressive and proactive compensation and benefits programs to motivate,
incentivize and reward performance. Partner with the leadership team and
lead the implementation of high-performance systems, including OKRs,
360-degree reviews. - Be
a thought leader for managers on organizational and people related
matters. - Lead
the development of an office and physical
environment that supports and drives performance, collaboration and
supports the company’s values

leads to better management skills and create workshops to teach various
human management principles. - You
have a deep network in the industry to tap into expertise in compensation,
benefits, and human resources policies and procedures. - You
have 5 years’ experience in HR in a growing organization. - You
are fluent in English, and Kinyarwanda - You
hold a B.A. or /B.S. degree in a relevant field and additional evidence
that you love learning. (MBA is an added advantage)
