We are seeking a talented Front End Developer/Designer with skills across JavaScript(native
OO), CSS3.0, HTML5.0. Knowledge and an interest in working with the latest
frameworks like Angular, Node, Backbone, Ember is required however commercial
experience is not mandatory.
This is an end to end design and development position – experience driving a
collaborative design process with external customers and internal Product
Owners is required. A pas
sion for designing a compelling user experience,
design standards and experience with mockup and wireframe generation is
required. An interest or exposure to user testing would be highly regarded.
Its a 100% Agile environment running stand up meetings, working to fortnightly
iterations, retros etc. They follow Continuous Integration and Automated
Deployment and the team are involved in DevOps on a Linux platform. You’ll
be working closely with AWS – Interest in cloud technologies a must!!
To be considered:
- 3-5 + years front end OO programming –
demonstrated expertise in front end technologies such as JavaScript
(native), HTML5, CSS3. Experience with Angular, Ember, Backbone, Node
etc highly regarded but not mandatory. - Experience developing reusable classes in
CSS - Complex, high transaction/volume website
design and front end development - Development and Deployment on Linux/UNIX
- Continuous Integration and automated
deployments - Strong Interest in UI design and willing to
get hands on with the design aspect a must! - Any experience with cloud, Amazon Web Services
EC2 etc highly regarded.
