In-Country Team Leader placements on the ICS Program. In
Rwanda, our projects are based in the southern province (Huye, Gisagara and Muhanga
Districts), in Kigali City and in the Eastern Province, Gatsibo District. Through
ICS, we provide the opportunity for youth in Rwanda and the UK to work together
in areas such as Female Empowerment, Disability Rights, Livelihoods Skills

International
Citizen Service (ICS) is a program funded by the UK Government and run by a
consortium of UK charities working in developing countries. In Rwanda,
International Service works in partnership with local development organizations
called AJPRODHO –Jijukirwa and Association Mwana Ukundwa with an intention of
extending to other Districts by end December 2016. The ICS program gives young
people the opportunity to make a difference in the world’s communities, whilst
gaining transferable skills and invaluable experience by working alongside
volunteers from different cultural backgrounds.
