About ILI-ACLE:
Fifteen years ago, we established an Institute dedicated to providing
affordable and high-level post-professional ed

ucation to public and private
sector officials in Uganda in the areas of law, governance, finance and project management to equip these
professionals with practical tools to stand shoulder-to-shoulder and compete
effectively with other professionals across the globe. The relevance of our
approach was quickly recognized, and over the years, we began to draw public
and private sector professionals engaged in development from across countries
in Africa.

Today, ILI-ACLE enjoys continuing collaboration with partners such as the Open
Society Initiative for East Africa in the area of International Criminal Law and with the Danida
Fellowship Centre in the areas of Promoting Government Integrity and
Anti-Corruption and the Human Rights-Based Approach to Development. ILI-ACLE is
also pursuing partnerships with major U.S. and international law schools, including a new ABA
approved collaboration with the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, to develop
opportunities for more diverse and sustainable capacity building for practicing
lawyers, law students and law professors. ILI-ACLE’s partnerships will continue
to raise the bar for the region’s public and private sector institutions, and
we strive to be ever-relevant and ready to meet the region’s evolving needs.

Job Summary:

The Marketing Associate will be responsible for supporting the Programmes
Department through the management of the Institute’s external communications.
This involves regular updating of Institute’s website, and social media pages, as well as
through the design and distribution of new promotional materials to the Institute’s large professional
network, including bi-weekly target emails, annual brochures, an updated
promotional/ informational video, capacity statement, billboard advertisements,
newsletters, press releases, newspaper advertisements, amongst other marketing tools. The Marketing
Associate will also monitor the Institute’s activities to ensure that they are
being effectively marketed.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

          The
prospective candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from a
recognized institution, as well as relevant working experience in the area of
marketing, preferably in an international organisation.
          Extensive
knowledge in database management
will be an added advantage.
          The
candidate should demonstrate a high level of organization, flexibility, ability
to quickly learn, understand and conceptualize the Institute’s mission, ability
to work independently and adhere to deadlines, and the ability to thrive in a
multi-cultural and international-level work environment.
          This
position is open to all qualified applicants and may be completed
off-site/remotely.
