The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and alignment with
supervisor expertise. They offer a range of benefits including coverage of
tuition costs; a fortnightly living allowance; relocation grant; and health

fee offset for up to 2 years for students undertaking a Master by research

living allowance may be indexed annually and includes limited paid sick
maternity and parenting leave. - Relocation
grant for students moving to Melbourne from interstate or from outside

who require a student visa to study in Australia

a Graduate Research Scholarship, you must have applied for and meet the entry
requirements for a Master of research or Doctoral degree at the University of
Melbourne, or be currently enrolled in a research degree at the University of
Melbourne.

English Language
Requirements: Applicants must have completed tertiary studies that are at least
equivalent to a 4-year honors degree at an Australian university with a minimum
result of first class honors. The University of Melbourne TOEFL Institution

Some faculties may accept graduate students with a slightly lower IELTS, TOEFL,
Pearson Test of English or CAE score.

a course offer and deferred commencement in order to be re-considered for a
graduate research scholarships, you must submit an online
application form by the relevant closing date. You will receive a
notification that a scholarship application has been added to your record
within 7 days of having submitted the online form.
If you are currently
enrolled in a graduate research degree for which you seek a scholarship, you
must submit an online application form by the relevant closing
date. You will receive a notification that a scholarship application has been
