International Cultural Service Program (ICSP) Tuition Scholarships in USA

International Ccultural Service Program offered
by University of Oregon for international students who demonstrate
financial need and exceptional merit. This scholarship also
cover tuition-waiver ranging from $9,000 – $27,000. ICSP scholarships are
based on financial need, academic merit and the ability to make presentations
to diverse groups of people. These scholarships are renewable and awards
10-20 new students each year.

Eligibility:
– Applicants must be admissible or fully admitted to the University of Oregon.
New students must apply for admission to the UO for 2013-14 by January 15,
2013.
– Applicants cannot be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or eligible to
receive U.S. federal financial assistance.
– Applicants must demonstrate financial need and meet the minimum 3.0
cumulative GPA requirement.
Scholarship Open for International Students: This Scholarship is open for international Students.
Scholarship Description: The ICSP scholarship awards 10-20 new competitive scholarships to
international students each year. Scholarships apply to tuition only and range
from $9,000-$27,000 per year. The ICSP scholarship has a cultural service
component which requires students to give presentations about their home
country to children, community organizations, and UO students, faculty and
staff. ICSP scholarships are based on financial need, academic merit, and the
ability to make presentations to diverse groups of people.
Number of awards offered: The ICSP scholarship awards 10-20 new competitive scholarships to
international students each year.
Duration of award(s): A maximum of four semesters, normally consecutive.
What does it cover? Selected ICSP students receive a tuition-waiver scholarship ranging from
$9,000 – $27,000.
Selection criteria: Demonstrated financial need
Experience participating in cultural activities
Demonstrated performance and presentation skills
Strong academic records
Strong communication skills
