This
position is on a short-term (3 – 6 Months) contract basis.
Our client is one of
the leading international finance businesses in the region: well-established,
fast growing, leading edge. In its continuous effort to expand, it’s looking
for an Insurance (Life) Consultant to take ownership of the day-to-day
insurance operations, and establish a solid foundation for the rapid and broad
expansion of the insurance solution a
nd business.
To succeed in this
independent role, you will be a seasoned life insurance professional with the
knowledge, drive and leadership skills to manage and grow the insurance
business. Your responsibilities will include: business and product development;
sales; legal and regulatory compliance; developing and implementing the
underwriting processes; customer service management; administration of policies
and claims; developing product and cost models; and calculating premiums and
claim ratios.
This contract
provides you with a unique opportunity to lead from the front and stretch
yourself by using your skills to build the life insurance business and take
responsibility for results.
Requirements
You will have a
relevant degree coupled with a recognised intermediate or advanced insurance
qualification. To succeed in this role, you will need proven experience
(minimum 5 years) within the life insurance landscape, and attained success in
the areas of business and product development. As this is an independent
leadership role, you will have had a minimum of 2 years supervisory level
insurance experience and be knowledgeable on all aspects of the business.
