Electrical Engineer
Kallang Bahru (North East, Singapore)
Responsibilities:
- Review and design for plant layout
arrangement, electrical cabling drawing, cable support drawing and single
line diagrams. - Design MCC & cable routing,
evaluate HV/LV electrical systems. - Calculation and review of
electrical signals, in-depth knowledge of electrical principles and
electrical systems. - Performing load, short circuit and
lighting calculations. - Evaluation of bids for equipment,
materials, sub-panel and full module systems. - Negotiate on contracts and
sub-contracts from pre-award through post-award activities. - Equipment selection and
specification with knowledge of traditional machine controls as well as
PLC, HMI and distributive control systems. - Familiar with relevant codes such
as NEC, OSHA and ANSI.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree, in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic)
or equivalent. - At least 2 year(s) of working
experience in engineering calculations and design of HV/LV electrical
systems, PLC, SCADA programming and design control systems in water
industries. - Knowledge of designing of building
electrical systems including power systems, lighting, fire alarms and
telecommunication systems is an added advantage.
