This specialist Infrastructure contractor that operates nationwide is a Civil
Design & Construct specialist with a large amount of variety in their
portfolio of works. With projects valued between $1-20m scattered throughout
the state, they are well positioned to compete for ev
erything from construction
works within metro areas through to large scale projects throughout the
Pilbara, Midwest and Gascoyne regions. The majority of their portfolio features
water/hydraulic related infrastructure construction and as such having solid
exposure to tendering on pipelines, pumpstations, treatment plants, and other
water infrastructure will see you held in high regard.
Day-to-day
This is a unique opportunity for an Intermediate to Senior Estimator to take
control of the future success of this small contractor. The role is all
encompassing see you doing everything from calculating take-offs, obtaining
quotes, engaging subbies, programming, scheduling etc. Coupled with this are
ongoing tender compilation responsibilities.
You
To be successful in your application, you must have demonstrable experience compiling
tenders solo and bring with you previous experience on general infrastructure
packages, with a strong understanding of Water related infrastructure projects.
In return, you will enter this growing contractor at a senior level, working
closing with the Managing Director in driving the business forward through
competitive tendering predominantly in the Pilbrara, but also contributing to
tenders nationwide as needed.
The successful candidate MUST have a degree in Civil Engineering and in
an ideal world will have had previous experience working on site. This is to
ensure that you have insight into the complexities of construction in the North
West and can apply this knowledge to your scheduling and pricing.
